Working Meeting - Solar Cycle 24: specifics and challenges

Current Solar Cycle 24 has multiple distinctive specifics which make it quite different from the Solar Cycle 23 and perhaps from several previous cycles.
The Meeting will be discussing the solar, interplanetary and near-Earth characteristics, recent space weather events and challenges in their predictions in the solar cycle 24. The comparisons to the previous cycles should also be made for better understanding if indeed it is very specific. As an output of the meeting the set of actions can be introduced, such as to launch specific publications or to recommend the specific observations which might improve our understanding of the solar variability.
