Splinter - Space Weather Working Team - SWWT
S. Poedts (CPA)
Wednesday, Nov 7, 14:00-16:00

The ESA Space Weather Working Team (SWWT) is an open forum for European experts in science and applications for space weather. The SWWT plays a crucial role in the development of Europe's space weather strategy, services and applications. It not only provides expert advice to ESA's SSA program, but also has a stimulating and directing role in Europe's space weather research, applications and services communities, provides a contact forum for academic-industrial knowledge transfer and, moreover, organizes related outreach and educational activities.
During the SWWT Plenary recent developments on European scale will be reviewed and discussed. The main activities and plans of the restructured SWWT Steering Board will be presented. Furthermore, the main outcomes of the SWWT Topical Groups during these last two years will be highlighted.
