The city

La Roche en Ardenne is a lovely town located about 120 km south-east of Brussels in the Ardennes. It's a touristic place on the Ourthe River, with a middle-age castle, and surrounded by forests.

Conference site

The conference is organized in "Le Floreal" vacation center, located about 700 m from the town's center. There are, on site, possibilities for lodging, food (two restaurants), drinks (bar) and leisure activities (bowling, small park with tennis court, mini golf etc...).
Internet Wireless connection will be available in all the common areas.

Rooms and appartements are available on the conference site. To book a room at "Le Floreal", please fill in this form and fax it or send it back by mail to the hotel as explained in the form.
Other hotels are also available in the area.

Travel

A free shuttle will be available from the Railway Station of Marloie to the congress venue on Sunday 17 August, with return on Friday 22 August in the morning. The journey from the Railway station of Marloie to the Floreal at La Roche-en-Ardenne is about 40 minutes.

By car, from Brussels National Aiport the trip lasts about 1h30mn, see these direction indications from Google.

By train (closest station : Marloie)
From Brussels National Airport, first take a train to Brussels North (every 15 minutes, duration < 15 min).
From Brussels North, every hour there is a train to Marloie (duration ~ 1h30).
The cost of a one-way ticket from Brussels Airport to Marloie during the week-end is 22.60€.
On weekdays you can benefit from the 'Summer Deal', where a one-way ticket is 13.10€.
If you arrive on Sunday and leave on Friday or before, we advise you to buy two one-way tickets, in order to benefit from the Summer Deal on the return journey. If you arrive on Monday and leave on Friday or before, you can buy directly a Summer Deal return ticket at the price of 26.20 €.
If you come to Brussels with the Thalys or Eurostar, you'll arrive at the Brussels South station, from there you can directly catch the train to Marloie also.

The journey from the railway station of Marloie to the Floreal at La Roche-en-Ardenne is about 40 minutes.

If you do not take the free shuttle :

• You have to take the regular bus TEC 15. The time table of this bus is here (week days, pp 1-2, saturday pp 3-4, sunday pp 5-6). This bus arrives in La Roche in the city center either at "Quai du gravier" or "Quai de l'Ourthe". From there you have to walk to the conference center (about 10mn). This map shows you the 2 TEC bus stops and the conference center (red ellipse).
