Title: Analysis on turbulent fields generated using BxC
Speaker: Daniela Maci from CmPA
Abstract
BxC is a Python-implemented code that generates 3D MHD turbulent fields based on geometric interpretations and analytical models, thus using minimal computational resources. Here we perform an analysis on the geometric parameters involved in the model in order to understand their influence and assess the statistical properties of the generated fields. Additionally, a set of background magnetic field configurations are implemented in the code, in view of more realistic modellings of astrophysical scenarios.
