Contest - Design 4 a Ticket and moreThe jury has come to a verdict. 7 jury members had to deliberate on 19 (!) submissions. Each jury member ordered the submissions according to his/her preferences. The first in the list got 12 points, the second 10,the third 9, …, the last 8 got 0 points. All the points each submission got, were added. The competition was killing. But, we hope that all the submitters enjoyed it. Yet, it was a pleasure to see so much enthusiasm.And the winner is ... Anastasiia Kaufmanwith
Congratulations! The design of Anastasiia will be used for the website banner, the esww2019 poster, the esww2019 badges, presentations, ... and Anastasiia wins a full week esww2019 ticket! Honourable mention for Speciali Roberto who ended on the second place (left image) and Wood Alan on the third place (right image).

The jury checked if the link with the theme Space Weather Services is clear. Originality and creativity were also taken into account. Why this contest? Since 2006, each European Space Weather Week had a theme picture. The esww13 conference dinner contest proved there was a lot of talent in the space weather community. We wanted to further explore these talents and creativity. From ESWW14, we introduced a design competition. This is already the third competition.
