The static Sun

After one rotation, it seems that the Sun hasn't changed. The Sun's temperament cooled down significantly. Both pictures are taken by SOHO/EIT in the bandpass of 28.4 nm. The left one dates from January 28, 2006, the one on the right from February 23, 2006. The Sun looks very static as the two pictures look very similar. This makes the forecast of the geo-efficiency of the small slightly southern coronal hole much easier.
