The session convener will review your request and can accept it as an oral but also as a poster. You can also request a poster instead of an oral. The session conveners can accept it as a poster. If they want to schedule it in the oral part of the session, they will accept it as an oral. The advantage of submitting it before May 31 is that you will be notified by June 12 of acceptance and your contribution will be immediately listed online. What if I miss May 31? Don't panic. You can submit - only - posters until November 1. When will my late poster contribution appear online? As soon as it is reviewed by the session conveners. The latest deadline for reviewing late poster contributions is November 7. If this is too late, make sure you submit your contribution before May 31. Information for session conveners Session conveners fill the oral part of their session with accepted spontaneous requests for orals and invited orals. Spontaneous requests for orals ESWW14 participants can request for an oral, deadline May 31, 2017 included. The session conveners can accept it as an oral and schedule it in the oral part of their session. The session conveners can accept it also as a poster. Early poster requests ESWW14 participants can send an early request for a poster, deadline May 31, 2017 included. The session conveners can accept it as a poster. It is also possible that the session conveners want to schedule it as an oral in the oral part of their session. The authors will be notified. Invited Orals Session conveners can invite authors to submit an invited oral. These authors submit their invited oral through the website and choose the option 'Invited oral', deadline September 30, 2017 included. The session conveners review these submission and label them as 'Accept as an Invited oral'. Note that authors of invited orals are ESWW14 participants and hence pay the ESWW14 fee. When will the program appear online? From June 12 onwards, contributions that are reviewed and accepted by the session conveners will be listed immediately online. From October 20, the time schedule of an oral part of the session will be published.
