The UAH Space Weather Station
The University of Alcala will set up a space weather station supported by internal funding with two main goals:
- Being autonomous from power and communication needs and
- Implementing new techniques and procedures to obtain valuable data for space weather, even
in 'hard environmental' conditions.
The purpose is to demonstrate that basic space weather operational needs can be fulfilled with a station built
almost anywhere and with small budgets.
