The challenge faced by Space Systems users and those dependent on Space Services for their function requires exercising against a realistic SpaceWx scenario, both in development of procedural response and in rehearsal of reaction to eventual real events. The variability of SpaceWx events and their span of influence makes it particularly challenging to develop scenarios with physics-credible timelines, particularly when the scenario user is seeking to mix SpaceWx risks with other influences on their functions in a realistic manner. This discussion will examine the potential values and constraints of a rule-based, board-game like method of generating physics-credible SpaceWx scenarios and representative forecast and indices output to support Space User Development Exercises and Training.
